Welcoming Ramadan

A Month of Mercy, Renewal, and Togetherness

Bismillah.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh dear NIA family,

Alhamdulillah, once again Allah has allowed us to reach the blessed month of Ramadan — a gift not promised, but lovingly granted. Ramadan arrives each year as a gentle invitation: to slow down, to realign our hearts, and to return to Him with sincerity and hope.

This month is not only about hunger and thirst. It is about healing the heart, strengthening our prayers, reconnecting with the Qur’an, and restoring relationships — with Allah and with one another. Every salah we pray together, every date we share at iftar, every du‘a whispered in the quiet night becomes part of a beautiful tapestry of worship and community.

Let us enter Ramadan not with pressure, but with optimism. Allah does not ask perfection from us — He asks effort. A small consistent step toward Him is beloved to Him.

May our masjid be filled with Qur’an, our homes filled with mercy, and our hearts filled with tranquility (sakinah). Let us support one another, forgive one another, and make this a Ramadan of growth, compassion, and renewal.

We pray Allah accepts our fasting, our prayers, our charity, and our intentions — and allows us to leave Ramadan better than we entered it.

Ramadan Mubarak to you and your families
