Ramadan Mubarak

Taraweeh Banner

Alhamdulillah the glorious month of Ramadan is upon us. We will begin fasting tomorrow Saturday May 27, 2017. Therefore the first night of taraweeh will be tonight Friday May 26, 2017. Tonight the adthan for Isha will be called at 9:52PM. Tomorrow Fajr comes in at 3:56AM and the adthan for Maghrib will be called at 8:18PM.

We are excited to announce Shaykh Waleed ElBatrawish and Hafidh Ridwan Nasir will lead us in taraweeh this year.  In addition to the taraweeh prayer, we are planning various programs throughout the month, such as the annual Qiyaamul-Lail, which will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017.

As is customary, every night NIA will serve dinner after Maghrib, a direct contribution from our members and their families. If you wish to contribute to the expenses we will incur this month, Click Here.

Ramadan Resources

In order to take advantage of the blessings Ramadan has to offer, please review the following resources and use the guides throughout the month:

Ramadan is the month of Qur’an and with these packets you will be more than prepared to not only read, but understand the words of Allah.

During this blessed month, increase your du’a to Allah. This amazing packet contains du’a given to us direct from the Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. Make a commitment to memorize at least two of these Qur’anic or Prophetic du’as this month. Additionally, this packet contains the du’as commonly recited during the Witr prayer.

In order to make your month as pleasant as possible, we have created a guide, “Ramadan 411: A Guide for Making Your NIA Experience Easy.” Included is information on parking, key dates and times, and select du’a.

“Oh Allah! Give us security, health and well-being in Ramadan, and safeguard Ramadan for us and protect us from disobeying You in it.” We look forward to welcoming you, breaking our fast together, and standing side-by-side in salaah.

One Response so far.
